Our sitting service is offered to people who live and care for a relative in their own home. We arrange for a friendly volunteer to sit with them whilst their carer takes a break. This could be for any time between 1 to 4 hours dependent on the individual.
Our Sitting Service Coordinator will visit you at home to discuss the needs and preferences of both you and your relative. Our volunteers are people of all ages and from all walks of life, so we do our best to match you with a suitable person.
All our volunteers must submit references and undergo a DBS check before they start. They will also be accompanied by the coordinator on their first visit to you.
It’s important to us that you are happy with your sitting arrangement. If you have any problems with any aspect of our service please contact us and we will do our best to put things right.
